Gina Arnote is a Swedish artist who resides in Albuquerque. She aims to create rich, colorful and timeless artwork inspired by her many travels, adventures and the nature around them, with focus on motorcycle riding and scuba diving, which she spends time doing at any chance she gets! Her love of the New Mexican landscape and wildlife is often prominent in her work, presenting the ultimate reason she creates, – to spread happiness and elevate the energy of those who view them.
Where Light Reveals Hidden Dimensions
Oil, acrylic, watercolor, and mixed media infused with shimmering metallic pigments.
Gina’s preferred mediums are oil and acrylic, but she also explores watercolor and mixed media. Her love of light guides her to incorporate the use of metallic pigments in her paintings.
“A higher Vibration” her latest series of paintings also incorporates her love of light and reflection using metallic pigments. These shimmering details come alive when a light is shone on to the painting, making the painting shift with every move. However, it is not the painting that is changing, but the perspective of the viewer. With this technique she strives to convey the energy of the animal and nature it portrays, as well as the movement of the object.
She invites you to utilize your cell phone flashlight to sweep over the paintings when viewing in person, revealing the hidden treasures of the metallic pigmentation of the paint, adding details that brings a new dimension to the piece.

Group Therapeutic Art Workshop and Intuitive Healing Energy Transmission
During each Therapeutic Art Workshop we will work with a specific theme for each class, created to target an area of the body and mind, unlocking an understanding of yourself and your emotions. The class will incorporate various therapeutic art techniques along with a group Healing Energy Transmission to softly help you release any emotions or energetic blockages in your body, aura or chakra.
Includes guided meditation, visualization, or journal prompts as well as Energy Healing Transmission and guided art workshop. All art supplies included.
Mother Blessing Ceremony
Performing a Mother Blessing Ceremonies is one of the most humbling, beautiful, and serene moments I can think of. The ceremony will include a belly painting of your choosing, using nonchemical face paints, journal prompts for the Mother to be, along with motivational birth affirmations, birth prayer flag and flower wreath. But if you have other wishes, I am happy to work with you to put together a Mother Blessing Ceremony that suits you and your preferences.

My Artist Journey
I was born in southern Sweden,
and although being creative was a large part of my childhood, I gravitated towards painting. I’ve been painting regularly for the last 15 years.
My husband and I started travelling to New Mexico
about 10 years ago and we both fell in love with the people, nature and energy of the area. We eventually moved to Albuquerque in 2018. My love for the New Mexican landscape is often prominent in my work using the local wildlife as inspiration and the objects I portray.
The focus of my work
has been utilizing oil or acrylic to create colorful and soft backgrounds while exploring negative space as outlines and details. This technique developed from being a young girl, always carrying the sketchbook with me everywhere I went. Sketching taught me how to “see the world” and it helps me connect to the nature and all living things around me to this day.
